1st All India Roller Skating Championship to take place in Noida

The Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) and Uttar Pradesh Roller Skating Association is organizing an All India Roller Skating Championship, first of its kind, in Noida, India. The event started on 18th April at the RSFI Greno Speed Skating Rink, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. From all over the country, around 11000 inline and quad skaters and more than 120 schools across the have been invited will be participating in the event.  The event is said to feature 7 different age groups for boys and girls, respective in 5 different events. The event will take place at Greno speed skating track - a newly made facility, with a grand opening ceremony on 18th April in the presence of the former president of RSFI and other dignitaries. Greno speed skating track is only track designed as per the latest international specifications. The track is a 200-meter-long parabolic synthetic track with 7 meters wide, and also has an elevation standard of 1 meter and 35 centimeters. The event will continue till 23rd April.
