2022 FIFA World Cup Logo Unveiled

The 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifications started from 5th September onwards, and to add more enthusiasm and raise anticipation among spectators, Qatar unveiled the logo for 2022 edition of the FIFA World Cup. The next edition of the men’s Football World Cup is scheduled to be held in the Gulf emirates. The 2022 FIFA World Cup logo came on display in several cities around the world on 3rd September, 2019.

The logo, which displays a stylized Arabic White unisex shawl, an infinity symbol or a figure-of-eight, with maroon patterning and the top of the symbol dented a little to form almost a heart shape and engraved with ‘FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022’ below the logo. The logo popped up in several cities, including the country's National Archives in the capital's southern Msheireb district to fanfare, where a crowd of hundred was watching a procession soldiers on horseback.

The emblem illuminated city’s popular sites at the exact time of 20:22 as the year it is supposed to have its next edition and FIFA also posted the logo in their official Twitter handle. Madrid, Buenos Aires and Beirut also came to witness the symbol of the event along with other cities. Qatar is getting ready for hosting the tournament and reportedly invested in building or refurbishing stadiums. To avoid the scorching heat, the event is scheduled to take place in September.
