Begin With Something Safe

Having pets at home helps you keep your mind at peace. They break the monotony of our lives by their several shenanigans. In the United States of America, approximately 68% percent of people own a pet. At some point in our life especially in our childhood we desired a furry dog or a swift rabbit but as we grow up that desire is lost somewhere mainly due to lack of time and the commitment one needs for a pet. But if you still want to have a pet then owning a fish as a pet is the best option. If you don’t have enough space for larger pets then we would suggest going for a fish. There are a variety of options for you to choose from tropical to temperate and freshwater to marine.

You just need a little bit of research on what types of fish should be kept and in what number. These days people at the pet shops set the aquarium for you and you just have fill water in it after getting it home and leave the fish in them. Some even come with built-in filters.

Today we will tell you about some popular starter fish for beginners.

1.Platies: They come in different colors like other fish. They also get along with other kinds of fish. Platies eat freeze-dried fish food or dry flakes and they are known to also eat algae; this will help in keeping your tank clean.

3.Betta Fish: Also known as ‘Siamese Fighting Fish’; do not get scared by its name; these fish are also good for beginners. But they tend to get violent with other fish of the same species. So, just make sure to keep one Betta fish in your tank. Apart from coming beautiful shades, they have really lavish fins especially the males. They can eat both flake food and fish food pellets.
