In the month of April, only a few states have reached temperatures up to 41 degrees Celsius. With the Lok Sabha elections, the country is already heated and the sun is adding extra fuel to that making us all the more exhausted. But being tired and drained is not an option, we have to awake and arise and keep ourselves hydrated. Drinking a lot of water is suggested along with fruits. Fruits have a high level of water content along with, vitamins and minerals that keep us active, hydrated and well in summers. Here is a list of summer fruits that are a must have in your diet.

1.Mangoes; We had to start the list with these golden fruits. They are known as the king of fruits. Rich in selenium and iron, it promotes eye health and immunity.

2.Watermelon: Next on the list is this heavyweight fruit. There is probably no other fruit juicier than this; well, 94% of it is just water. Best for the summers. It is rich in Vitamins A, C, and potassium.

3.Wood Apple or bael: Bael is known as a natural medicine for constipation. It has Vitamins B1, B2, A, C, potassium, and calcium.

4.Muskmelon: Like watermelon, this fruit is also rich in water content and its sweet taste makes it one of the favorite fruits in summer.

5.Papaya: The digestive enzymes, chymopapain, and papain make it widely sorted fruit during summers.

6.Bananas: Can be found in almost every household, is a good source of iron and potassium that will decrease the fatigue level and fill you with lots of energy.
