Bhutan Airlines has planned to operate scheduled direct flights from Kathmandu to Guwahati.
Kathmandu, which lies in the Himalayan Mountains is one of the fascinating cities in Nepal. It is situated at an altitude of 1,400 meters and is a prominent tourism hub of Nepal which is now being connected by Bhutan Airlines directly to Guwahati, the 'City of Eastern Light', which happens to be the largest city of North-East India. The airline has decided to operate direct flights due to the rising number of visitors to the breath-taking and lofty Himalayan kingdom.
Bhutan Airlines has also increased baggage allowance of the passengers from 30kgs to 40kgs for business class and till 30kgs for Economy class.
