Britain’s Prince Philip uninjured after car crash

Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II was recently involved in a car crash near the Sandringham estate in eastern England. Police reported that a car had collided with that of the Prince’s car and both were taken to the hospital immediately. Witnesses reported to the media that Prince Phillip appeared to be very shocked after the Land Rover he was driving overturned. The accident had occurred when Prince Phillip’s car was pulling out of a driveway to the main road. Prince Phillip and passengers of the other car suffered minor injuries and were later discharged from the hospital. Buckingham Palace confirmed the accident and reported that the Duke was not injured. Prince Philip is known to take great pleasure in driving and had earlier driven President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle to lunch during their state visit to Britain in 2016.
