British Marathon runner runs the world

A record-breaking run-in Greece was achieved by the 30-year-old Nick Butter where he became the first man in the world to run a marathon in all 196 countries approved by the United Nations. This marks a tremendous influence to the rest of the people of the world as to what extent a man’s passion can lead him.

Butter completed his wild odyssey through much hail and tide. He ran his first marathon when he was 11 and it took him a long period of time to realise that running was his ultimate passion. He balanced his running career with his career in a bank due to need of financial support until he finally realised that running is his true passion and gave up his office job.

An even warming fact about this man is that the fund raised by him during these marathons is all meant to be donated for charity in the treatment of prostate cancer. Till now, Butter has raised $83,000 and Butter strives to raise more. Butter took up this challenge after getting inspired by a man in the Sahara Desert.

I’ve seen all highs and lows in the world and my journey throughout the world saw me getting lynched, mobbed and even arrested. I even struggled with Visa and passport, but ultimately succeeded in realizing my dream. It is all about true passion. If you have it, there’s no space for fear”, Says Butter. Butter continues to run and add to the 592 marathons that he has run already.
