Cat or ‘Victorian-era-detective’?

Social media has been proved to be one of the biggest boons for mankind. Here any information spreads like a fire. These days people know how to use the social platform to showcase their talents. Not only us humans but the animals also. Proud pet owners use social media to share the different shenanigans of their beloved pets. Instagram is filled with such pages featuring adorable pictures of different pets. Going through the accounts we came across an account that belonged to Gringo.

Gringo is a British Shorthair who has become the latest internet sensation because of his distinct facial feature. He has a specific marking on his face that looks like a mustache. This little munchkin has won our hearts and some have compared him to a “Victorian-era-detective. His fur mustache makes us skip a heartbeat.

Gringo is one-year-old living in France with owners Sabrine and Romain, and his brother Miko. Gringo’s followers on Instagram reached up to 60,000 but as his account was hacked, a new profile has created which has already garnered 12,000 fans. Sabrine shares that Gringo is a happy kitty, full of life and with a really nice personality. Like many other cats, he too loves playing get up to mischiefs like climbing the curtains, scratching the couch, jumping in the plants and many more.

Sabrine further shares that Gringo likes standing on his back paw like a meerkat and he can stay in that posture for a while. The couple discovered gringo through a French cattery site and fell instantly in love with him. When they adopted Gringo, he was just three months old. Sabrine already had a cat called Miko, both the cats got along quite well and they are completely inseparable.
