India’s Aadhar Card goes Global

The Philippines government has shown interest in understanding and accepting the unique biometric identification system, also known as Aadhaar. The Citizen identification system devised and implemented in India by the Modi Sarkar in 2009.

Ministry of external affairs (MEA), secretary of east Preeti Saran said,

Philippines President Duterte discussed the Aadhaar system with Prime Minister Modi. He said he was interested in India’s Aadhaar system that could help him in his various endeavors including fighting corruption.

The Philippines government took a lot of interest to come up with the identification procedure in their country. They have been sending queries to India on how the whole system function.

However, PM Modi is very happy to share India’s experience with President Rodrigo Duterte. Not just Philippines, even Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Russia, Morocco, North African countries will come up with such procedure. Each individual in the register will be assigned a unique personal identification number based on his/her demographic.
