Italian man tested positive for Covid-19

The deadly coronavirus outbreak which has been declared as an international public health emergency concern by the World Health Organization (WHO) has currently spread outside China and gripped the entire world. Currently the number of infected people is nearing 1 lakh around the world and 3000 people have already lost their lives due to this deadly coronavirus. Unfortunately the virus has also entered India, the recent one being an Italian tourist who was visiting Rajasthan and has been tested positive for Covid-19 or coronavirus. The tourist was initially tested at Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh hospital where he showed symptoms of Covid-19 but the reports turned out to be negative. Later he was tested again following the deterioration of his condition and the second report stated that he had been infected with the virus. The Italian tourist has been quarantined at a paramilitary camp of Indo-Tibetan Police Force. Italy is currently being considered as one of the hotspots of the coronavirus where 52 people have lost their lives so far. The death toll in Italy is the highest in Europe and the third highest in the world after China and Iran. India has so far seen two other cases, one in Delhi and another in Telangana along with six other cases being tested in Agra. The previously reported three cases from Kerala have fully recovered and have been discharged. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said, "We are already prepared in advance and are closely monitoring other countries. We are also discussing if we have to revise any of our decisions, amplify it or focus in any particular direction".
