Ivanka & Jared to be part of delegation visiting India

The US President Donald Trump will be travelling to India on February 24 & 25. Trump will be visiting New Delhi, Agra and Ahmedabad. He will be inaugurating the world’s largest cricket stadium - the Motera Cricket Stadium which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 700 crores and has a seating capacity of more than 1,10,000 people. During this three-leg visit of President Trump, his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner will also be accompanying him as a part of the diplomatic delegation. The first lady, Melania Trump is also a part of the delegation which also includes the Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and the Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross. While speaking about his India trip, Trump said, “We are doing a very big trade deal with India. We will have it. I don’t know whether we will have it before the election, but we will have a very big deal with India". The two heads of the States, Modi and Trump are expected to discuss intensely about counter-terror cooperation, deepening engagement in the Indo-Pacific region, augmenting defence and trade ties and India's concerns over H1B visas. Under the current political circumstances, this 36 hours diplomatic visit is being considered as a very important juncture in the relationship between the two nations.
