Make a ‘unfriend’ list

There was a time when the word “friend” used as a noun, a plain noun we used to describe someone whom we had a good, close relationship with, remember? But then social media happened in our life and we’re making virtual relation by hiding behind the screens.

However, are you getting tired and sickscrolling through your newsfeed? Have you realised that you can’t even identify half of the names which pop up in your News Feed? Your friend list has 1000 people and counting (are you sure you can make 1000 friend in real life! Hmm.)? Is your wall jammed with posts you don’t care about?

All of the TV show spoilers, selfies, constant invitations from the groups, endless photo sessions of stranger’s doggy/baby/hubby/vacation that you are being spammed with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year?

If all the answers are yes,or at least one of these questions, then Unfriend Day on 17th November is probably made for you my friend. Though” unfriend” sounds harsh but the verb is very effective to clear junk people.
