We all know that pizza is life but working out how to get the most for your money can be a tricky business. If you’re planning to order a medium size pizza now or will be ordering one for your dinner, you might want to rethink your order.
Luckily, the mathematicians have revealed some shocking answer and it will really surprise you. They have revealed that getting one large pizza is a better idea than ordering two medium pizzas. Here’s the logic behind such weird statement, one 18-inch pizza has ‘more’ pizza than two 12-inch one. According to Fermat’s Library twitter post an infographic to explain the math. It shows that the area of an 18-inch pizza is 254 square inches, on the other hand, two 12-inchpizzas is just 226 squares. Based on such theory, 33% of the crust is just a waste of bread. Here’s a proof that the math class was worth the trouble.
