A recent study suggests that yoga practitioners are less prone to blood pressure in pre-hypertension conditions. In a major finding, it has been stated that those who practice yoga on regular basis take 24-house to reduce ambulatory systolic blood pressure (upper-level BP) and diastolic blood pressure (lower level BP).

The study was conducted by researchers from Department of Neurophysiology Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in October 2018 edition. Yoga is quite effective for those patients from pre-hypertension. According to Dr Nandini Agarwal, ‘The patients practising yoga showed a significant decrease from the baseline in comparison to the conventional group, who underwent lifestyle modifications at 12-week.
