NH7 Weekender reveals diverse line-ups for Pune

Bacardi NH7 Weekender kicked off things earlier today with the announcement of their humongous line-up for the grand tenth year edition this November for Pune from November 29- December 1, 2019. The multi-genre festival that started way back in 2010 has grown bigger and brighter each year, exhibiting a combination of top-notch performances from Indian and Global artists alike. “Since our festival’s journey began in 2010, Bacardi NH7 Weekender has programmed extraordinary talent for an equally passionate and growing audience of music fans. With over 82% of our line-up making their festival debut this year, we hope to see more fans to celebrate this decade of happiness with us,” said Supreet Kaur, Festival director.

This year, global performers like Opeth, Kodaline, Cozz, Underside and many others are all set to enthral the audience along with Indian names such as Raja Kumari, Soul India and A. Hariharan. Fans will also be ready to get their funny bones tickled as some of India’s most loved comedians- Zakir Khan, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Rahul Subramanian among many others will be working their ways on the stage.

On the backdrop of their anthemic new single ‘Follow your Fire’ and their most recent album, ‘Politics of Living’, the highly popular Irish pop rock band Kodaline is expected to receive a massive footfall for their first performance in the country. Alongside the band, rides the extremely well-known metal giants Opeth, whose much-awaited performance coincides with the release of ‘In Cauda Venenum’. The Swedish band has performed twice in India, and Weekender has already raised the fan numbers over several thousands. Other debutants include Nick Murphy, who has been travelling around the world without a break for quite a long time owing to his widely-acclaimed major sold-out shows and platinum albums, US Dreamville rapper Cozz, American hip-hop duo Earthgang and top-notch electronic music project Garden City Movement. Mumbai-based metal band Bhayanak Maut is also expected to set the stage on fire alongside hip-hop star Raja Kumari. The line-up also includes Sufi duo Wadali’s and of course, one of India’s most versatile singer A.Hariharan.
