Pakistani war museum displays Abhinandan’s mannequin

A war museum in Pakistan has recently put on display a mannequin of Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman inside Pakistan Air Force Base in Karachi. What’s more uncanny is a mug placed next to him on a glass shelf.  For people who did not get the reference of the mug yet, it is linked to a video that was released by Pakistan Air Force while Abhinandan was held captive in Pakistan. In that video, Abhinandan was seen holding a cup of tea in one hand, while refusing to pass on sensitive information to his captors. That clip had become a symbol of bravery and courage to the world. But Pakistan certainly did not consider it as a symbol of courage of an army man; otherwise it wouldn’t have displayed it next to the mannequin of Commander Abhinandan. On countless occasions, Pakistan was seen mocking this event, especially during the World Cup this year when Pakistan stirred up a controversy by releasing an advertisement which featured Varthaman's lookalike holding a cup. This move was certainly very strange on Pakistan’s part to exhibit something like this which is related to an army man and his courage.
