In a shocking incident Bollywood actor-director Rahul Bose was charged Rs 442.50 for two bananas at a posh five-star hotel in Chandigarh, which would have hardly costed him around Rs 10-20 in any supermarket! This incident hit him like a rude shock where he was charged this hefty amount for two bananas, however, the bill wrongly described it as a fruit platter. Bose had visited Chandigarh to shoot for an upcoming film when this bizarre incident took place. All he wanted was to have two bananas after a heavy session in the gym, but what came up next shook him, rather disgusted him. He chose not to let it pass and decided to embarrass the luxury five star in which he was staying. Bose took to twitter with his heavy dose of sarcasm to describe the situation! He said, "So I'm shooting in Chandigarh and I'm staying in this beautiful suite at the JW Mariott, where they give you all these elegant freebies like these chocolate cookies and God knows how much these flowers must have cost. But get this - I was in the gym and I asked for two bananas while I was working out and, of course, I got the bananas. Check the bill out. They're just too good for me. Well done, JW Marriott Chandigarh".
