Ranveer Singh buys cricket bat for a whopping 2000 pounds signed by legendary cricketers

Ranveer Singh is currently dipped in cricket fever and is all set to mesmerize his fans as he steps into the shoes of the iconic Indian cricketer Kapil Dev for his next film 83.

One of Indian cricket’s greatest point of history was the 1983 world cup win when former captain Kapil Dev lead the team to become world champions.

The actor has been training hard to master the game for his next film which is a sports drama, a biopic of Kapil Dev directed by Kabir Khan. With the cricket fever at an all-time high now with the ICC world cup 2019 underway there was big moment when Bollywood Actor Ranveer Singh along with 83squad met with cricket greats on Monday for an event by India Today where eminent cricketers gathered for a chit chat. The actor also had another precious moment at the event, turns out, Ranveer reportedly purchased a bat signed by Sachin Tendulkar, Vivian Richards and Wasim Akram for 2000 pounds. In Indian rupees, the bat would retail for approximately 1.75 lakh.

Ranveer put the highest bid of 2000 pounds making sure he does not miss out on getting his hands on the autographed bat which was sold to the actor at an auction.

The actor took to Instagram where he posted pictures with each legend and expressed his gratitude towards the sporting icons.
