Royal palace at Jaipur now opens to guests

Jaipur or the commonly called pink city is the host to royal and luxury living. It is a popular tourist destination and its main attraction lies in its royal heritage. We all crave to stay at one of those royal palaces decorated at Jaipur. However, this may not seem like a far fetched dream now as recently Maharaja Padmanabh Singh has partnered with Airbnb and opened up a royal suite making Airbnb one of its kind. The suite thus opened by him has been named Gudhiya suite and is open to travellers.

I have travelled around the world and have stayed at Airbnb. They have a new standard of hospitality to their hosts which really touched my heart. I feel Airbnb should host more royal palaces and the initiative taken by me would sure impel other Royal Maharajas to open up a suite just like me. And in this way the real flavour of quintessential Indian hospitality would be evident to the world”, says Padmanabh Singh

The suite is fully equipped with a n indoor swimming pool, a lounge and a kitchen. The guests would receive other comforts as well such as a private butler and specially curated tours. A dinner at the terrace of the palace would top the crown of an ideal day at the suite. however, a stay for a night at the suite would cost $8000, which clearly isn’t a small amount. Nevertheless, the palace still initiates a never before story.
