Bollywood actress Tabu’s ‘Andhadhun’ will be opening at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). Not only that she will also be honored at the event. The executive director of IFFLA said in a statement that they have been discussed about honoring Tabu for a long time, and this year they felt it right. He further said that her work and personality embody everything that IFFLA is about.
The film festival is dominated by works of female filmmakers including documentaries, short films, features. The films will be shown in 9 different languages. Besides ‘Andhadhun’, movies like Anamika Hasker's ‘Taking The Horse To Eat Jalebis’, Aditya Vikram Sengupta's ‘Jonaki’ featuring veteran actress Lolita Chatterjee, who passed away last year are a few among other movies that will be shown in this film festival.
The film festival is in its 17th year and this year it will start from 11th April till 14th.
