The Golden Touch

Asian Games started in the year 1951 and since then, the one thing that has been a constant is the performance of the Indian men. It all comes down to that one event that India totally dominated at the Asian games.

Kabaddi viewership in India has always been low even after their success at the Asian Games and the World Cup. Thanks to the Pro Kabbadi League and its tremendous success, we have been blessed with some great players with inspiring success stories.

One of them is Monu Goyat, the 25-year-old farm boy from Hansi, Haryana. He now has over 37,000 followers on Instagram. The Pro Kabbadi League has helped young Indian talent by giving them exposure, platform and funds that the sport was in dire need of.

The success of the PKL has changed the look of the Indian men’s kabaddi team that will be travelling to Indonesia in search of its eighth gold medal.

Whatever be the sport, we rarely come across a team that has been dominating a the field of play like the Indian Kabaddi team has and we can’t wait for them to come home with another gold.
