The Season of Sports

It is however okay to say, this can be considered as a sports season, with many big sports event happening in the past one month alone. From FIFA Women’s World Cup, ICC Crickets World Cup and Wimbledon 2019, to Formula 1 British Grand Prix all having crucial matches in the last 1 week. On top of it, the three most anticipated sports events of the year, British Grand Prix, ICC World Cup and Wimbledon 2019 finals will be clashing on 14th July, Sunday. Last week, FIFA Women’s World Cup also had its final showdown resulting in United States conquering the title against Netherlands for the 2nd consecutive time defending the champions tag. 

At one side in an epic battle of becoming the new champion of the world Cricket, both the nations, host England and New Zealand will be clashing to take the cup home for the very first time. On the other side, Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final 2019, will see another historic battle between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, both aiming for the final title. While the Wimbledon Women’s Singles between Serena Williams and Simona Halep is going to take place on 13th July, Saturday. However, this does not end here. Formula 1, British Grand Prix race is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 14th July as well, at Silverstone Circuit, London.

With all the major sports events lining up in a single day, players, boards, critics and sports lovers are in a tight schedule to witness these events or chose specific once according to their preferences. While, Lewis Hamilton of Formula 1 race have showed concern in the matter of the big clash slightly worried about the British GP being overshadowed by the other 2 huge events. No matter how many games clash in a day, it is still a huge day to catch up to, with such huge events colliding at a go.
