Transgender woman crowned Miss Universe Spain

Angela Ponce, a transgender woman from Spain will be competing for the Miss Universe pageant 2018 after being crowned as Spain’s representative. According to reports, Angela has won Spain’s qualifying rounds against 22 other contestants. She’ll be representing Spain in Miss Universe 2018 that is set to take place in Philippines this year. She won 6 years after the pageant removed their ban on transgender women, from their previous rule of only 'naturally born' women contestants. This year’s Miss Universe pageant will be creating history with the very talented Angela Ponce as one of the contestants.
