Vicky Kaushal To Become Immortal

Uri: The Surgical Strike based on the true incident of Kashmir’s Uri garnered a lot of praise both critically and commercially. It was directed by Aditya Dhar and the talented Vicky Kaushal was seen in the lead. The actor-director is all set to get back for another project. After a patriotic venture, they have now joined hands for a mythological project. The film will be based on the mythological character of Ashwatthama from the epic ‘Mahabharat’.

Ashwatthama was the son of Dronacharya, who was on the side of the Kauravas during the fight of Mahabharat. Ashwatthama was born with a gem on his forehead that protected him from hunger, thirst, and fatigue. According to the myths, he was an immortal as well.

Ronnie Screwvala, who was the producer of Uri will be producing this movie also. The title of the film has not yet been finalized but it is expected to release in mid-2020. For now, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Takht’. He will also be seen in Soojit Sircar’s next movie, a biopic of ‘Udham Singh’, a freedom fighter.
