Virat Kohli And The Tale Of 15 Dogs

Team India captain Virat Kohli had a very exciting Easter Sunday. Everyone knows about Virat’s love for dogs. On this Easter Sunday, he went to CARE, a rescue and rehabilitation centre in Bengaluru and he adopted 15 destitute dogs. Kohli spent an hour with the dogs and cats at CARE.

The founder and trustee of the organization, Sudha Narayanan said, Two of our youngest volunteers brought him to the centre. What was supposed to be a 10-15-minute visit lasted nearly an hour. We were surprised by the interest and initiative taken by one of the world's busiest celebrities, as he took so much time out and asked us pertinent questions about adoption and our processes.

Virat was really concerned about the care of destitute dogs. He asked several questions to the volunteer about how the dogs are taken care over here, about the adoption process and what the statics for the adoption of indie breeds were. Kohli was so struck about their statement that he adopted 15 destitute dogs and also, he himself takes care of their needs. Sudha added, We have around 50 destitute dogs in our shelter that we take care of till the end. They took to Virat instantly. He volunteered to passive adopt 15 of these destitute dogs for their care and needs. While most people go for the cutesy ones, Virat chose to specifically take care of the crippled and blind ones,
