Nietzsche said,
Life will be a mistake, without music
He wasn’t entirely wrong because we have a natural instinct that leads us to groove on to any rhythm. In fact, most kids move and clap their hands and smile when they hear any song. Well, it is a spontaneous response related to our need to communicate and express out our emotions.
But why is that?
Our brain releases endorphins (a group of hormones secreted within the brains and nervous system), that create a feeling of comfort, power, and relaxation. Dancing activates medulla oblongata (part of our brain) and dancing to the rhythm of any music reduce pressure created during tension, anxiety, and depression.
